Gallatin Is Program Director Of Quinnipiac Online

HAMDEN — Cindy Gallatin of Newtown has been appointed program director for Quinnipiac University Online, a new division of Quinnipiac University dedicated to providing quality college-level courses for undergraduate and graduate students.

“The ubiquity of the Internet has caused the explosive growth of online learning and created new e-learning opportunities,” Ms Gallatin said.

Quinnipiac University Online will begin offering online undergraduate and graduate courses in June. Courses will be offered in biology, global security analysis, information systems in organizations, systems analysis and design, object-oriented programming, principles of marketing, and managerial thought. New media and online information courses in journalism, education, and business also will be offered, as well as a course on newsroom management.

Ms Gallatin, who has been an adjunct marketing professor in the School of Business at Quinnipiac since 1994, holds a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University and her master’s in business administration from the University of Bridgeport. She also has taught marketing courses at Teikyo Post University and has worked in various sales and marketing positions.
