Finding The First Egg Is Always The Hardest

Two-year-old Gordon Walsh was a little bit at a loss of how to search for Easter eggs when the mad dash began last Saturday at the Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Easter Egg Hunt at Treadwell Park. Fortunately, his mom, Kinya, was nearby to help get things going for Gordon. With much prompting, the first egg finally did drop in the basket, and the hunt continued.  The Egg Hunt draws more than 100 basket-wielding kids each year. This was Gordon’s first Easter Egg Hunt and he left with a smile, certain to return next year as an experienced hunter.
