‘Tempest’ Auditions

Town Players of Newtown will host auditions Monday and Tuesday, April 14-15 for William Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Auditions will run from 7 to 9:30 pm each night.

Director Ruth Anne Baumgartner has openings for 15 or more cast members, various ages, with possible gender-blind casting in minor roles.

Cold reading from script. Some characters must sing. Musicians who play lute, flute, or recorder are welcome. No children at this audition.

Those interested in tech work should attend auditions and speak with the director.
