Animal Centerâs Cats Need Homes
The following cats are up for adoption through The Animal Center:
ROVER is a friendly and affectionate, approximately 7- to 8-month-old month orange tabby male for adoption. Rover loves to be petted, especially on his face, and trills to let you know heâs happy youâre spending time with him. Rover is very gentle and sweet and would love to find a home to call his own. He is healthy, neutered and current on vaccines.
ZIGGY is a playful, friendly and affectionate four-month-old kitten. Ziggy gets along great with everyone he meets, including children and other cats and dogs. Heâs outgoing, fun and loves to play. Ziggy would make an excellent companion for first-time adopters. He is healthy, current on vaccines and neutered.
GIGI is an approximately one-year-old cat. Purrs, laptime and snuggles are what Gigi likes best. On March 9, shortly after joining The Animal Centerâs program, Gigi gave birth to four beautiful kittens. Gigi will be ready for adoption in early May when sheâs done nursing her babies. The Animal Center is looking to line up a suitable home for her in the meantime so that when Gigi is spayed and done nursing, there is someone special waiting to welcome her into their life. Gigi is healthy and current on vaccines.
BELLA, a beautiful Siamese/Tabby mix, is approximately 1-1/2 years old. Bella loves to play and is very much a kitten at heart. She is a very smart cat, extremely lovable and enjoys as much attention as you can give her. Bella exhibits some jealousy around other cats and dogs, so she would do best in a home where she is the only companion animal. Bella is spayed, current on vaccinations and is healthy.
Good news: Sweet Potato was adopted this past week.
The Animal Center is a Newtown-based, non-profit animal welfare charity that rescues, rehabilitates and places the communityâs abandoned, neglected and injured kittens into loving homes. The Animal Center not only partners with the community, but also with other rescue groups and veterinary offices to save cats that might otherwise be euthanized. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity, will help more than 200 cats this year and relies heavily on the support of the public and generous volunteers.
