Bad Check
Police report they arrested Lee Ann Hamilton, 33, of Derby on a warrant at 2:45 pm April 2, listing charges of failure to appear in court and issuing a bad check.
Police said Hamilton issued a bad check for $90 on August 1, 2002, to Avance Esthetiques, a day spa at Sand Hill Plaza. Hamilton later did not appear in court following a bad check arrest, which stemmed from that incident, according to police.
After processing the arrest, police released Hamilton on a $150 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Hattertown Crash
Motorist Narin Khiev, 45, of 145 Boggs Hill Road, was driving a 1989 Honda Accord sedan northward on Hattertown Road about 4 pm April 6, when the vehicle crossed the southbound lane and struck steel guard cabling, police said.
Khiev was not injured in the mishap. Police issued Khiev an infraction ticket on a charge of failure to drive to the right.
Hawleyville Collision
Motorist Jacqueline Torpey, 37, of Monroe was driving a 1996 Volkswagen Jetta northward on Hawleyville Road on March 31, when a deer entered the road, police said. Torpey attempted to stop, but the Volkswagen collided with the deer, police said.
Torpey was not injured. No enforcement was taken.
Church Hill Accident
Motorist Christopher Coulter, 18, of 7 Adams Hill Lane, who was driving a 1994 Honda Accord westward on Church Hill Road at about 9:20 pm April 3, was beginning to move forward at a green traffic signal at the intersection of Church Hill Road and Commerce Road, police said.
Westbound motorist Michael Agius, 47, of 140 Hattertown Road, who was driving a 2003 Dodge Durango sport-utility vehicle, failed to adjust his speed accordingly, and struck the rear end of the Honda, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Agius a written warning for following too closely.

Schoolhouse Hill MVA
Motorist Edward DâAmico, 65, of 57 Dodgingtown Road, who was driving a 1993 Chevrolet G-20 van westward on Schoolhouse Hill Road about 9:30 am March 29, entered the eastbound lane to avoid a pedestrian, police said.
In entering the eastbound lane, the Chevroletâs left exterior rear-view mirror collided with the driverâs side of an eastbound 2001 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by Brian Luby, 38, of Redding, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued DâAmico an infraction ticket for failure to keep to the right.

House Break
Sometime between March 28 and 30 someone burglarized a High Rock Road home and stole more than $9,000 worth of items, including electronics and jewelry, police report. The crime constitutes their degree burglary and second degree larceny.
The victim is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the return of the stolen goods, police said. Persons with information about the incident are asked to contact police at 426-5841.
Route 25 Accident
Motorist Kenneth Rupp, 78, of 18 Great Hill Road, who was driving a 2002 Audi A-6 Quattro southbound on Route 25 at about 10:45 am April 7, stopped and was waiting to make a left turn into the driveway of Colonial Park Plaza, when the Audi was struck on the right side by motorist Daniel Smith, 28, of Chicopee, Mass, who was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi FE-6, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Smith a written warning for passing on the right.

PT Cruiser
Motorist John M. Aurelia, Jr, 42, of 157 Hanover Road, who was driving a 1997 Mercury Sable southward on Mt Pleasant Road near Diamond Drive about 10:50 am April 9, slowed down to turn right into a driveway, police said.
In the course of the maneuver, the Mercury was struck from behind by a southbound 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Timothy Graden, 36, of Washington, police said.
The Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps checked Aurelia for neck pain at the accident scene, police said. Police issued Graden an infraction ticket for traveling too fast for conditions.
