Why Was The Dog Warden Fired?
Why Was The Dog Warden Fired?
To the Editor:
What is going on?
I have heard nothing but accolades for Carolee Mason, our âformerâ dog warden. Why was there a âresign or be firedâ ultimatum? Nowhere in The Bee article or by First Selectman Borst was Carolee accused of any wrong doing.
So, what is the charge? Was Carolee too caring, too honest, too businesslike, too pro animals, too neutral in her pursuit for better care of animals, too whatever?
What really counts is did she do her job well. From all accounts I have heard, Carolee has done a super job.
So what is the real beef? How can you publicly fire someone without stating a cause? Is that legal?
