Helping Kids For The Cure

To the Editor:

I just want to thank everyone who made the Kids For A Cure Movie Fundraiser a big success. Together we raised over $500 to fight back against cancer. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard on this event, including the staff at the Reed Intermediate School, Reed PTA volunteers, the Kids For A Cure Committee, and to Robbin Chaber, who organized the event.

I especially want to thank all the parents who came to watch A Bug’s Life with their children, bought sno-cones and little toys, and many of whom did not accept the change back from their purchases, instead donating it to the American Cancer Society. I look forward to a great Kid’s Mini-Relay on June 13h! Watch your school newsletters to see how your children (grades K–6th) can get involved.
