Amaline T. Maloney, 91, of Newtown, previously of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Edward J. Maloney, died April 2, in her residence.

Born in Bridgeport, the youngest of seven children, to Dominic and Catherine Tartaro, she had been a Fairfield resident for more than 60 years prior to moving to Newtown two years ago.

Mrs Maloney was a member of the Greater Bridgeport Retired Teachers Association and had been a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption Church in Fairfield. Following her retirement, she enjoyed traveling the world and spending quality time with her cherished grandchildren.

Survivors include two children, Patricia K. Maloney of West Haven and Robert E. Maloney and his wife, Isabel, of Bethel; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 4. Entombment followed in St Michael Cemetery Mausoleum, Stratford.
