Victor Would Be Proud
Victor Would Be Proud
To the Editor:
My wife and I attended Les Miserables on Broadway three times. Certainly we attended several others, but Les Mis was special. We now attended the showing at the Newtown High School. Those kids werenât just great, they were fantastic.
A thin line separates the amateur from the professional. It would be difficult to single any one person out, but how did Tyler von Oy remember so many lines? Was there a sweeter voice than that of Elyssa Samsel? Leslie Greenfield; what a terrific performance. Melonie Beck playing the character Eponine was a delight. How can one school have so many wonderful talented people. Every one of the characters was depicted very convincingly. Sabrina Post, Iâm sure Victor wouldâve been proud.
