The Fantasticks is the longest running musical in the world, and with good reason: at the heart of its breathtaking poetry and subtle theatrical sophistication is a purity and simplicity that transcends cultural barriers. The result is a timeless fable of love that manages to be nostalgic and universal at the same time.
Directed by Oksana Protenic, The Fantasticks will run weekends at 8 pm from April 16through May 8, with an additional evening show on Thursday, April 29, and a 2 pm matinee on Sunday, April 25.
Brookfield Theater for the Arts (formerly The Country Players of Brookfield) is on Route 25, near the intersection of Route 133 and Brookfield Library.
