Lillian M. Fraas

Lillian M. Fraas, 85, wife of John M. Fraas of Cedar Hill Road, died April 2 in Danbury Hospital.

Mrs Fraas was born in Bridgeport on June 20, 1918, a daughter of the late Henry and Lillian (Brophy) Pettite. She was raised in Danbury but had been a resident of Newtown most of her life. For many years she was employed by The Bee Publishing Company as secretary to the publisher, the late Paul Smith. She was a member of the Newtown Congregational Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a nephew, Robert Wilkes.

Funeral services were held April 6 in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, with Rev Steven P. Gordon officiating. Interment was in Newtown Village Cemetery.
