Conservation District Plans Annual Plant And Seedlings Sale
BETHEL â Orders are now being taken by the Southwest Conservation District for tree seedlings and shrubs. The Southwest Conservation District is holding its annual sale of plant and seedlings on April 23â24.
To order plants, call the district and request the current newsletter with the order form. This year evergreen seedlings, potted shrubs, and perennials will be available.
The Southwest Conservation District is a nonprofit organization that provides technical advice to homeowners, farmers, and municipalities on issues related to soil and water conservation.
Pick up orders will be on Friday, 10 am to 4 pm, and Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm, at Bethel Fairgrounds Barn, 69 Stony Hill Road in Bethel for Fairfield County customers, and The Lockwood Farm, Kenwood Avenue in Hamden for New Haven County customers.
