Children On The Reservation

WASHINGTON — Wendell Deer With Horns, a member of Two Kettles Band, Lakota Nation, will be at The Institute for American Indian Studies on Saturday, April 17, for a program called “Children on The Reservation.”

From 1 to 3 pm Mr Deer With Horns will share the fascinating story of his life while growing up on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. He will also talk about Lakota culture, history and traditions. The program is suitable for all ages.

Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for ages 5 to 12, which includes museum admission.
