Authors To Discuss Chances And Choices In War-Torn Italy

As part of the Cyrenius H. Booth Library’s monthlong World of Words celebration of Italian art, literature, food, and culture sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Center for the Book in Hartford, Westport author Luciana Contin will speak on Tuesday, April 20, at 7:30 pm.

Her subject will be her recently published novel Chances and Choices, The Girl From Trieste, which is a partially fictional account of her own life.

Besides telling how she came to write the book, Ms Contin, who has lived in Connecticut for the past 20 years, will also be signing copies for library guests.

The talk is free and open to the public, but reservations are suggested; call the library at 426-4533.
