Mariann Petersen To Richard W. Durocher

Marika and Henno Petersen of Sandy Hook announce the engagement of their daughter, Mariann Petersen, to Richard W. Durocher, son of Bibiane and Henri Durocher of Springfield, Mass.

The future bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1986, University of Connecticut with a bachelor of science in 1990, and St Joseph College, West Hartford, with a master of science degree in 1996.

The future groom graduated from Cathedral High School in Springfield, Mass., in 1982, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Mass., in 1987, and Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, Penn., in 1995. He is a self-employed podiatrist in North Haven.

A September wedding is planned.
