M. Daniel Arvidson

M. Daniel Arvidson, 73, husband of the late Anne Marie (Gregory) Arvidson, of Still Hill Road, Sandy Hook, died April 7 at Harborside Healthcare-Glenn Hill in Danbury after a long battle with cancer.

Mr Arvidson was born in Bridgeport on May 28, 1927, a son of the late Arthur and Julia (Dennis) Arvidson. For 40 years, he was employed as a barber at the Theater Barber Shop on Wall Street in Norwalk until retiring May of 2000.

Mr Arvidson is survived by two daughters, Dana L. Walker of Tallulah, La., and Kimberly C. Kane of Clinton Corners, N.Y.; a son, Kenneth Keeshan of Oskabosa, Iowa; one brother, William Arvidson of Trumbull; and three cousins, Vivian Mizzone of Bridgeport, Edward Miney of Monroe, and John Zaffis of Bridgeport.

Funeral services were held April 11 in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.
