Middle Gate Elementary School Names Its Reflections Winners
Middle Gate Elementary School recently announced its local and state winners for this year’s PTA Reflections program.
The theme for the PTA art competition this year was “Look Within.” All of the entries were judged on Artistic Merit/Creativity (ten points), Mastery of the Medium (ten points), and Interpretation of the Theme (20 points).
Primary and intermediate refer to age divisions. Primary is kindergarten to second grade and Intermediate is third to fifth grade, for the art competition.
Middle Gate’s first place entries have already been sent to the state level of the competition, and five of the first place winners at the school earned placement at the state level. A list of the state winners is available online at ctpta.org/ct-pta-reflections-awards-ceremony.
