Ruth Lillian Rossi, 101, of Danbury, formerly of Darien and Newtown, died April 4. She was born August 10, 1909, in Rowayton, Conn., to Edna Mae and Edward Ladrigan.

Mrs Rossi was predeceased by her husband, Fred V. Rossi; and her only child, Joan Rudolph, of Newtown; as well as her twin sister Mabel; two sisters Edna Mae and Helen; and brothers Edward, Louis, Arthur and Albert.

Two granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, and beloved nieces and nephews survive Mrs Rossi.

Mrs Rossi is remembered as “the life of the party,” and spent many happy summers at her cabin in Chelsea, Vt., in the 1960s.

Burial will be private.
