*The Scrapbag Quilt Artists have put together their annual exhibition for the library. “Juxtapositions: Differing Interpretations of Divided Images – an exhibit of contemporary art quilts” is on view until April 15.

This year members worked in groups of three or four people, and re-created an image – landscapes, flowers, etc. An original image was divided into three or four portions and then each quilt artist reinterpreted the images in fabric and additional materials. The pieces were not put together until it was time for the group to hang the show at the library a few weeks ago.

Children’s Programs

*Nutmeg Book Discussion: Pick up a copy of Made You Look by Diane Roberts and then join us for the second Nutmeg Book Discussion on Wednesday, April 27, from 6:30 until 7:30.

When Jason’s parents decide to take a cross country trip to California from their home in Texas, it becomes Jason’s mission to earn a spot on his favorite game show, Masquerade Mania. With his best friend Freddie along as his coach, Jason is looking forward to a chance of a lifetime.

Unfortunately, they encounter a few obstacles along the way that will keep readers laughing the entire trip.

The discussion is open to all students in grades 4-6. Call Booth Library’s children’s department, at 426-3851, to register.
