Mary Grace Polson, 64, of North Augusta, South Carolina, passed away at home on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Mary was born in Elmira, New York, on January 22, 1959, to the late Gerald and Gloria (Joyce) Frawley of Newtown, Connecticut. Mary considered Newtown, Conn., as her hometown having graduated Newtown High School Class of 1977.

She worked in retail management for most of her life until her health prevented it and moved to North Augusta, South Carolina, in 2014 to live with her son. She was a beloved member of both the Newtown and North Augusta local AA groups and is loved by many friends in the groups. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her knows she was one of a kind and will be sorely missed by many.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Joyce Collier, and father, Gerald Joseph Frawley, of Newtown, Conn.; her sister, Virginia Frawley James, also from Newtown; and her husband of 28 years, Stephen Polson, of El Dorado, Kansas.

She is survived by her son, Robert Polson, of North Augusta, S.C.; her daughter, Allison Scott, of El Dorado, Kansas; her sister, Alice Frawley, of Glen Cove, N.Y.; and her brothers, Bob Frawley of Saratoga, N.Y., Greg Frawley of Danbury, Conn., and Tim Frawley of Nashville, Tenn. She is also survived by her two beautiful granddaughters, Evelyn and Alexi Scott, of El Dorado, Kansas, who she loved with all her heart.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
