Martin Barre Of Jethro Tull To Perform At Edmond Town Hall
Edmond Town Hall will welcome legendary guitarist Martin Barre of Jethro Tull for an unforgettable night of music on Saturday, April 13, at 7 pm.
Barre, renowned for his intricate and powerful guitar work that defined Jethro Tull’s sound, will bring his signature energy to the historic venue for an evening of classic rock and skillful musicianship. This will be Barre’s only Connecticut performance in 2025. Limited seating is still available for the performance at 45 Main Street.
For over four decades, Barre captivated audiences worldwide as the lead guitarist of Jethro Tull, contributing to iconic albums such as Aqualung, Thick as a Brick, and Songs from the Wood. His performance at Edmond Town Hall will continue his Martin Barre Unplugged: Tull Tales tour, an intimate evening of acoustic music and anecdotes. He is joined on stage by Dan Crisp and Alan Thomson.
Barre presents a personal and thoughtfully curated show highlighting his favorite Tull moments, both musically and narratively, engaging the audience in a special and intimate evening of acoustic playing and story telling.
The event is part of Edmond Town Hall’s commitment to bringing more name-recognizable artists to its stage, offering the community and surrounding areas the chance to experience world-class performances in an intimate setting.
Edmond Town Hall Executive Director Gary Lindemann said he and others are excited “to continue expanding our lineup with artists who have made a lasting impact on music history.”
Tickets are $55 for orchestra and balcony seating — VIP seating is sold out — and available at EdmondTownHall.org.
