Earl M. Berglund

Earl M. Berglund, 77, of 223 N. Rocky Shore Drive, Iowa City, Iowa, died March 31 at his home following a lengthy illness.

He is survived by a daughter, Marie Bass and her husband, Michael, of Newtown.

Mr Berglund is also survived by his wife, Marilyn, of Iowa City; six other children, David Berglund of Elk River, Minn.; Philip Berglund and his wife, Cathie, of Iowa City; Elizabeth and her husband, Tom Andreoli, of Little Rock, Ark.; Erik Berglund of Iowa City; Carl and Teri Berglund of Wildwood, Ill., and Kristen and her husband, Mark Schmidtke, of Charlotte, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Lola and her husband, Al Ouska, of Reno, Nev., and Lois Neville of Sedona, Ariz.; two brothers, Edward Berglund and his wife, Carol, of St Paul, Minn., and George Gulbrenson and his wife, Ann, of San Diego, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Heather Berglund.

Memorial services were held April 7 at Congregational United Church of Christ, Iowa City.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Iowa City.

The Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service of Iowa City was in charge of the arrangements.
