Train Show This Weekend
BROOKFIELD CENTER â Brookfield Historical Society will host Super Train Exhibit XVIII at its headquarters, The Brookfield Museum & Historical Society, the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, April 4-5. Hours will be 10 am to 5 pm both days.
The show, which traditionally brings in hundreds of area residents, features numerous model train layouts ranging from Z, N and HO to the larger S, O and G gauge. In addition, railroad memorabilia, photos, videos of real life trains, antiques, artwork and signs and static displays as well as model train operators dressed as engineers, conductors, signal men and firemen, and authentic train sounds help highlight the event.
Toy and some model trains will be available for children of all ages to operate. Items will also be available for purchase includes railroad whistles, engineer hats, small train replicas and toys and other railroad related articles.
Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for Historical Society members and seniors, $1 for ages 7-14, and free for ages 6 and under. All proceeds will go to benefit future public programs of Brookfield Museum and Historical Society. The museum is at the corner of routes 25 and 133 in Brookfield Center.
