Alma C. Scott

Enjoyed Life And Family

Alma C. Scott, 75, of Newtown, died March 31 in Danbury Hospital. She was born on Pepeekeo, Big Island, Hawaii, on August 1, 1932, a daughter of James and Cecelia (Manono) Akeo.

Mrs Scott will be remembered for the way she could light up a room. She always knew how to enjoy life and the people around her. Her greatest joys were each and every member of her family, and her gardens. Her family knows she was simply amazing to look at, to be with, and to make memories with. Her spirit and fondness of life will live on in all the hearts of her family and she will be greatly missed by all.

Mrs Scott is survived by two sons, Robert Scott of Newtown and Gordon Scott of Wolcott; two daughters, Laurie-Ann Scott of Newtown and Carol-Jean Kamai and her husband, Jonathan, of Honolulu; two grandsons, Sean and Shane Gordon, and three granddaughters, Brittany, Rachel, and Carolyn Kamai.

Her remains will be returned to her place of birth, Hawaii, and scattered across the Pacific Ocean in Hawaiian style. A hui hou malama pono aloha oe.

Arrangements are in the care of the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
