Newtown Underwater Search & Rescue (NUSAR) is planning an open house at its headquarters, 28 Riverside Road.

The public is invited to visit Saturday, April 12, from 11 am until 2:30 pm.

Guests will be able to meet team members and learn about the equipment and capabilities of the local dive team. There will be demonstrations including the ability to speak with a diver under the water.

Attendees will also be invited to tour vehicles, vessels, and station.

Information packets on water safety and NUSAR supporter apparel will be available for purchase on-site. Baked goods will also be available and a silent auction with generous gifts donated by local businesses will be ongoing.
