Newtown Chamber Hosting Networking Double-Header April 9
The Newtown Chamber of Commerce is hosting two networking events on Wednesday, April 9, that are open to all local business professionals.
The first event of the day is happening at Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro, 97 South Main Street, from 8 to 9 am. The guest speaker is Chad Joshpe of 5 Tool Financial.
Mr Joshpe’s presentation is titled “A Sensible Approach to Creating a Legacy through Charitable Giving,” and it will include a step-by-step technique of creating a fiscally responsible approach toward supporting respectable, nonprofit charities.
Light refreshments will be served.
Breakfast networking sessions are sponsored by the Newtown Chamber of Commerce and happen on the second Wednesday of each month. Anyone interested in guest speaking can contact Tricia Farin at 203-426-9193.
There is no charge to attend this event and reservations are not necessary.
Then, local business people and professionals are invited to a joint-chamber Business After Hours event to be held at Fusion 25, 123 South Main Street, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Newtown Chamber of Commerce is co-sponsoring this event with Monroe Chamber of Commerce.
Guests will be able to network while enjoying light appetizers and a complimentary first drink of beer, wine, or soda. A cash bar will also be available.
There is a $15 charge for this event ($10 for Chamber members). Anyone interested in attending the joint chamber event may register online at newtown-ct.com or by calling 203-426-2695.
