Jane L. Managan, 81, of New Fairfield, beloved wife of the late William F. Managan, died at Danbury Hospital April 1. She was born in Danbury, and was the daughter of the late Louella (Benedict) and Louis Covill.

Her children and their spouses, Kathleen S. Wade of Newtown, Robert K. and Carol Corbett of New Fairfield, Ronald A. and Jaya Corbett and Thomas S. and Suzann Corbett of New Milford; her brother Louis Covill; sisters Lois Barrett and Doris Corbett; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren survive Mrs Managan. Her son Jay E. Corbett predeceased her.

She worked for many years as a program director at the former Fairfield Hills State Hospital. She was a longtime member of the Congregational Church of New Fairfield and Women’s Club.

Funeral services will take place at the Congregational Church of New Fairfield, Saturday, April 5, at 11 am. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, Friday, April 4, from 5 to 8 pm.
