Guckel

Helen Yula Guckel, 96, of McMinnville, Tenn., died March 22. She was born December 4, 1912, in Queens, N.Y.

Before retirement, Mrs Guckel and her family lived in Newtown from 1953 to 1974. Her late husband, Ernst Guckel, taught at Newtown High School. Mrs Guckel was employed at The Newtown Bee.

She is survived by three children; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
