HSO Is Continuing $5 Student Ticket Program

HARTFORD — Hartford Symphony Orchestra has announced it will continue its successful student ticket program. This spring marks the end of the second full season the orchestra has offered student discount tickets to all regular series concerts for just $5 each.

Participating in the student ticket program is as easy as purchasing a single ticket. The $5 student tickets are available whenever single tickets go on sale to the public for a particular concert, usually one month in advance, and they are sold at the door. Students are offered the best seating available at the time of purchase, meaning anything from the orchestra to the balcony, with savings of up to 90 percent per ticket.

Students over the age of 18 years may purchase discounted tickets with the presentation of a valid college ID. To purchase tickets, call HSO Ticket Services at 860-244-2999 or The Bushnell box office at 860-987-5900. HSO performances are held at The Bushnell, 160 Capitol Avenue in Hartford.
