AVV 3-28 #694017

HANOVER, N.H. — The Hood Museum of Art presents a lecture, “Taking The Personal Vision From The Privacy Of The Studio Into The Public Space,” on Friday, April 20, at 5 pm in the Arthur M. Loew Auditorium.

Howard Ben Tré was commissioned by the Hood in 2005 to make a series of sculptures, “Kira’s Benches” in honor of the late Kira Fournier, a sculptor who worked in glass, bronze and ceramics. The sculptures will be on view at a reception following the lecture by the artist, who will talk about his work in glass and bronze, including some of his sited public sculptures in Boston, Minneapolis, Seattle and Rhode Island.

The Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College is on Wheelock Street. Visit www.hoodmuseum.dartmouth.edu or call 603-646-2808 for more information.
