Sadelier To Host Tabletop Workshop

DANBURY — Ever wonder how to make dinner party table settings look magazine cover perfect?

On Saturday, April 3, from 3 to 5 pm, Style Editor Lauren Fister from Food & Wine Magazine will reveal all the insider secrets for creating exquisite table settings during “Wine & Dine: A Tabletop Workshop” at Sadelier.

Topics will include updating and incorporating existing dinner sets, how to appropriately “dress” a table, and creating “themed” dinners. The event will finish up with a Q&A session.

Drink and hors d’oeuvres will be served, and the event is free and open to all.

As the assistant style editor of Food & Wine Magazine, Ms Fister is responsible for identifying trends in tabletop, color, textiles and lifestyle and translating them onto the pages of the magazine. Whether she’s creating clever invitations and place cards or imaginative place settings, Ms Fister collaborates with food stylists and photographers from L.A. to New York to help create beautiful, evocative images.
