Heidi Seitz to Brett Barker

Mr and Mrs Karl Seitz of Goshen announce the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Seitz, to Brett Barker, son of Mr and Mrs Donald Barker of Newtown.

A May 30 wedding is planned.

Miss Seitz is the granddaughter of Mr and Mrs Imre Takacs, Irma Seitz, and the late Karl Seitz all of Torrington. She graduated from Wamogo Regional High School and the University of New Haven with a bachelor’s degree in school counseling from central Connecticut State University.

Mr Barker is the grandson of the late Mr and Mrs Edward Barker of Newtown, Harriet Lajoie-Comboni of Fairfield, and the late Fredrick Lajoie of Newtown. He graduated from Newtown High School and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Haven. He is currently employed as a mechanical engineer by Creative Product Development in Oxford.
