Grant For ARC Angels

DANBURY — The Association of Religious Communities (ARC) has received a grant from the Albert W. and Helen Clark Meserve Memorial Fund to support a pilot program, ARC Angels.

ARC Angels is a program that supports recently housed, low-income families with establishing their households by coordinating donations and support from area congregations. The $1,500 grant from Meserve will be used to develop a component of the program that will provide assistance with household maintenance and home repair costs.

ARC is a collaborative program of area congregations, founded more than 30 years ago for the purpose of facilitating interfaith cooperation and working together to advance justice, respect, and compassion while seeking to eliminate the causes of violence, suffering, and hate in the greater Danbury area.
