BPW Accepting Scholarship Applicants

The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Newtown is currently accepting applicants for its annual scholarship. A $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to a woman who is changing or advancing her career and is a Newtown resident.

Applications can be obtained in the reference area of the Cyrenius H. Booth Library or by calling Jeanne Malota at 426-0162. The deadline for applications is April 9.

Interviews will be conducted the week of April 12. The scholarship will be presented at the May 3 BPW meeting at 6 pm.

The Newtown Business and Professional Women’s Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes the interests of business and professional women, providing them with an opportunity for networking.
