To The Editor:

Fairfield County Giving Day is a great way to donate to local organizations making a difference. Friends of Edmond Town Hall participated in February and I do hope they did well. I wanted thank Friends of Edmond Town Hall for all the good work done and the fabulous entertainment the citizens of Newtown have enjoyed for so many years.

I had the home at 68 Dodgingtown Road where the six maple trees are painted into an American Flag and hosted many a 911 Memorial ceremony. Please accept my thanks and gratitude to everyone at Edmond Town Hall where I enjoyed many nights of entertainment.

We miss our town, The Newtown Bee, and its’ amazing staff, the best small-town newspaper in America.

Thanks to Amy Mangold at Newtown Parks and Recreation, which provides so many activities for the many children of "our" town to enjoy and gives financial aid to the families in need so that their children can enjoy numerous activities and the outdoors of "our" beautiful Newtown.

Many great times have been had at Castle Hill Farm. The Paproski’s provide a beautiful place in Newtown for families to gather, buy fresh vegetables, enjoy hayrides and pick pumpkins. We wish them well and their family in Ukraine and we can’t forget our trips to Ferris Acres Creamery, getting the best ice cream ever!

The Costallos family relocated to Florida, thanks for all the love, laughter and happiness they brought into my life. Steven, Diane, Morgan, Cooper and Aspen are the most loving and giving family that Jeanette and I have ever known. We all share our love of animals, nature and sports and spent many happy times together while living in Newtown.

Not a day goes by when my wife and I do not say to each other how much we miss Newtown. Please extend our very best wishes to everyone for a peaceful Passover & Easter holiday.
