Chester W. Seavey Jr

Chester W. Seavey Jr of Southbury passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, March 20, after he lost his battle with cancer.

A retired mechanic, he was happiest working on cars.

Chester was born in Bridgeport on April 30, 1951. He went to Newtown High School.

He was predeceased by his parents, Chester W. Seavey Sr and Veronica Willey Seavey, and his nephew, Ronald Breen.

He is survived by two sisters, Gloria Breen and Jessica VanBreukelen of New York; four brothers, Ronald Seavey of Oakville, Warren Seavey and Timothy Seavey of Southbury, and Andrew Seavey of Oakville; two sons, Joshua Seavey of North Carolina and Chester W. Seavey III of Arkansas; a daughter, Hessica Dornburgh of Cherry Valley, N.Y.; three nieces, and six nephews. He also leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be planned by the family for a date yet to be determined.
