Frederick A. Terrill, 81, passed away in the predawn hours of March 23, 2022. He was the loving husband of Ann Liphardt, to whom he was married for sixty years. Fred was born on June 5, 1940, in New Milford, Conn., to the late Flora and Frederick Terrill.

Fred spent his childhood in Sandy Hook, Conn. He attended Newtown High School and went on to start his own company, T&C Foundations. Fred was an avid sportsman. He started hunting and fishing at an early age with his Pop Pop Dutcher and later in life with his sons, Rick and Scott, and his beloved dog, Brandi. He loved spending time with his hunting friends and was officially known as the Senior Buck Commander of the Island Boys Hunting Camp. He played softball well into his fifties and retired with the name Father Time. Ann and Fred enjoyed traveling cross country, skiing in Utah, and fishing in Alaska. Fred loved the Red Sox and NE Patriots but most of all he loved to cheer on his grandchildren in all their sporting events.

Frederick is survived by his wife, Ann Liphardt; sons, Rick Terrill and Scott (Chryse) Terrill; daughters, Lisa (Ken) Hageman and Jennifer Campanale; nine grandchildren; a sister, Susan Oberstadt; and an aunt, Betty Waldron.

He was predeceased by a sister, Doris Ann, and brother-in-law, George Oberstadt.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, in Southbury, with a Celebration of Life following the services at his son’s home in Southbury.
