NEAT Climate Change Program, April 3 At Library
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is reporting that there are 11 years left to make significant progress on reducing carbon emissions around the world, or mankind will face catastrophic consequences.
Newtown Environmental Action Team (NEAT) will host a presentation about climate change on Wednesday, April 3. The program, co-hosted by C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, will begin at 7 pm in the library’s lower meeting room.
Mitch Wagener, PhD, will respond to questions following the presentation. Dr Wagener is an educator at Western Connecticut State University, where he teaches climate ecology, entomology, and related courses.
Registration is requested and can be done by calling 203-426-4533 or visiting chboothlibrary.org.
