WATERBURY —The next course in Post University’s Equine Husbandry program – The Horse – is offered Monday evenings, April 16 through June 11, from 6:30-9:30 pm in MacDermid 212. The course will cover such topics as evolution, conformation/parts of the horse, blemishes and vices, exercise and conditioning, herd behavior, training, disciplines/horse industry overview, transporting horses, fitness, and equipment.

This 8-week course is part of a series of six evening courses in Equine Husbandry offered each year. Park in the North Lot on Country Club Road, Exit 17 off I-84.

The course is an option for horse lovers and owners who wish to get more knowledge on correct horse care, but do not need to take a full four-year college course.
