How would you describe your occupation? My title at Newtown Youth & Family Services is youth coordinator, but I do a little bit of everything. Typically, I work with the youth, and I handle all the marketing for NYFS. I’m involved with all of the programs and events here. Some of the events and programs I do are Safety Town, Homework Club, Youth Advisory Board, Fusion, SibShops, the Life Skills program, Operation Heart to Heart, and Independent Living Day. I am the co-chair of the Holiday Festival, and I join Reaching Everyone’s Capabilities Club on occasional outings.

Who is in your family? I have one older brother, and both of my parents, still married for 26 years.

Do you have any pets? I have a dog. He is a yellow lab named Tonto. And, I have two cats, Cannon and Ivy.

What do you like to do in your free time? I like to go on runs, watch reality TV, and spend time with friends.

What is your favorite book? To Kill A Mockingbird

What organizations are you part of in town? The Newtown Prevention Council. I also help plan the Run 4 Hunger & Health 5K.

Who or what has been the greatest influence on your life? Definitely my parents.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? My grandmother, because she died when I was born, so I never got to know her.

Who is your favorite musical artist? They’re all different. I like Rihanna, Morgan Wallen, Ed Sheeran, and Sam Smith.

What is the greatest piece of advice you’ve ever been given? “Everything happens for a reason.”

What is something you can’t live without? Family.

What is your proudest accomplishment? Graduating college from WestConn.

What is your favorite travel destination? Europe.

What is your favorite part about Newtown? Just how small and quaint it is, and the community.
