Donations for FAITH Food Pantry were collected at Carpino Funeral Home last week during the calling hours and celebration of life for the late Judi Richardson.

Mrs Richardson’s oldest granddaughter, Alicia, had issued a request shortly before her grandmother’s wake, held March 21, that family members and friends consider honoring Mrs Richardson with the donations.

Mrs Richardson, who [naviga:u]died suddenly on March 15[/naviga:u], had been a volunteer for the nonecumenical food pantry in Newtown for many years. All of the donations were transported following the service to the Church Hill Road pantry, where they were ready to help clients who visited earlier this week.
