Youth Basketball Champions Are Crowned
Intermediate Boys (6th Grade)
Free Agents 31, Hawks 22 â Connor Noonan dropped in 8 points, Chase Wurtz had five assists and Justin Adsitt grabbed 11 rebounds for the Free Agents in their championship win. Austin Babyak and Matt Barra played well and unselfish play by Jeff Peterson and Justin Wiener contributed to the win.
For the Hawks, Matt Lindell popped in 8 points, Pat Rowley had 5 assists, Alex Romeo grabbed 3 steals, and Nick Norberg grabbed 9 rebounds. Virgil Procaccini and Steve Andreas played well.
Junior Boys
Huskies 52, Nighthawks 42 â Dom Fedak scored 22 points, Reid Schmidt had 10 points and Dillon Kelly added 8 to lift the Huskies to the championship. Jeffery Hoffman grabbed 8 rebounds and John Corsi played well in the win.
Brandon Marks dropped in 12 points, Mike Scharfenberg added 11 and Greg Horne scored 8 points for the Nighthawks. Pat Sullivan grabbed 7 rebounds for the Nighthawks.
