Traffic Enforcement Citations

In their continuing traffic law enforcement campaign against speeding, aggressive driving, and distracted driving, police conducted special enforcement projects on March 26 and March 20.

On the morning of March 26, police did enforcement work on Route 34 (Berkshire Road) near its intersection with Lone Oak Meadows Road, on Saw Mill Road, on The Boulevard, and at the Exit 11 ramps of Interstate 84.

Between 6 and 7 am on Route 34, police issued one infraction and two written warnings for traveling too fast, and handed out one speeding infraction.

From 7 to 8 am on Saw Mill Road, police issued: two infractions for traveling too fast, one infraction for failure to secure a load, one infraction for a violation of a trucking safety regulation, one written warning for a missing headlamp, and one written warning for traveling too fast.

At the I-84 ramps, police verbally warned one motorist for failure to stay in the established lane.

From 8 to 9:45 am on The Boulevard, police issued five infractions and three written warnings for traveling too fast.

Between 4 and 8 pm on March 20, police conducted special traffic enforcement on Route 302, on Bennetts Bridge Road, and on Hattertown Road.

During that period, police issued six violations for illegal use of a handheld cellphone while driving, six automotive equipment violations, and two seatbelt violations, as well as two miscellaneous moving violations.
