To The Antiwar Protestors:
To The Antiwar Protestors:
I sit and watch you all shout and scream into cameras vilifying our president and our administration. I must ask where were you and all of your âgive-peace-a-chanceâ friends while the tyrants and terrorist regimes continued to murder and rape hundreds of thousands of civilians?
Why have your voices not been heard over the last decade while Saddam and his sons continue to conduct inhumane operations against their civilization and continue to plan, conduct, and support operations geared towards your death and destruction?
Why do you continue to conduct demonstrations that take away the forces needed to protect your family and friends from new and potentially more deadly terrorist attacks than those of September 11? I am not talking about peaceful and legal implementation of your freedom of speech rights. I am talking about those which clog the highways and streets and lead to the deaths of those en route to hospitals on the streets you clog.
Do you realize how many murders and rapes took place as a result of your demonstrations? These have resulted because the appropriate agencies were unable to respond as a result of your unlawful and disrupting demonstrations. What if it was you, your sister, your mother, your daughter?
What are you thinking? You demonstrate against an administration and government that is dedicated to protecting your rights and freedoms. You demonstrate against an administration that has collectively decided to stand up and fight against tyrants and terrorists. Have you all lost your minds?
What our administration has decided to do is as equal, if not greater than, the efforts the forefathers of our nation put forth when they decided to sign and send our Declaration of Independence to the King. But you wouldnât understand that, because none of you have ever had to defend yours or anyone elseâs freedom. However, I bet you are all out during the Fourth of July celebrating without the least bit of appreciation for what had happened on that date in 1776.
Your actions are a disgrace to our nation and to you. You can all holler and scream and say what is wrong, but none of you have ever come forward with a better idea of how to make it all right. At least you have all failed to do so over the last decade.
I hope to see you all out in your protest lines holding up apology banners when Iraq is liberated and the Middle East begins to enjoy just a few of the freedoms you seem to all take for granted. You know freedoms like life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
I have heard the cries and screams of those oppressed by tyrants, have you? I have put my life on the line to protect freedom and democracy, have you? Until you do, you have not a clue of what those whom do not are going through. Wake up!
I thank and support our troops wherever they may be. I further send my condolences and appreciation to the families of those that have been and will be killed defending freedom.
