Looking For A Copy Of ‘April Morning’?

Despite the advent of spring and warmer weather Newtowners are still finding time to read Howard Fast’s April Morning. Though copies remain scarce, if you put your name on a waiting list in the library you should get a call within a day or two when a book becomes available.

Don Bates from the Drug Center is also doing his best to see that books are being shared and often has one or two books to lend. Both the library and the Drug Center are drop-off sites for books when you are done.

April Morning addresses so many of the same questions facing us today. Bring a friend or neighbor and come join other Newtowners in a fun and lively discussion on some interesting topics relating to the book. According to the book, war is not always wrong, but it is always terrible. Why?
