Lions Club Pancake Breakfast On Saturday

The Lions Club of Newtown in conjunction with the Leo Club from Newtown High School will hold a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 29, from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the United Methodist Church on Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook.

 Funds raised from the breakfast will be used in support of Newtown’s Labor Day Parade and to support Leo Club activities.

For those who look forward to the Labor Day festivities, this will be an enjoyable way to help meet the funding needs of the Parade Committee. Additionally, participants will be helping support the community service activities of the Newtown High School Leo Club.

Tickets are available at the door. They are $7 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12. Children ages 4 and under are free.

The Leo Club is a student organized and operated program at Newtown High School whose goal is to teach young people how to organize and contribute to community service projects. The Leos have been active in most of the service projects that the Lions have participated in over the last couple of years.

Lions Club members appreciate the support of the community and hope that everyone will come to the pancake breakfast.
