Breakfast With The Bunny

The Hawleyville Volunteer Fire Company will sponsor a family event called “Breakfast With the Easter Bunny” at the Hawleyville Firehouse at 34 Hawleyville Road on Saturday, April 12.

The Easter bunny will attend to socialize with local children. The fundraising breakfast will run from 8 to 11 am. The all-you-can-eat menu includes pancakes, sausage, juices and milk.

Tickets, which will be available at the door, will cost $5 for adults and $3 for children up to age 11.

Children will be photographed with the Easter Bunny for a small fee.

The fire company will hold a raffle during the event. Prizes will include an Easter basket, flower arrangement, and gift certificate.  

The Homesteads at Newtown, an assisted living complex on Mt Pleasant Road, has presented a donation to the fire company toward its fundraising project, according to the fire company.

The Hawleyville Firehouse and its fire equipment will be on public display during the April 12 event.
