Ann L. Shetter

Ann L. Shetter, 89, wife of the late Wayne A. Shetter, formerly of J. Appleseed Drive, Sandy Hook, died March 25 in Mediplex of Southbury.

Mrs Shetter was born in New Haven, June 11, 1913, a daughter of the late Stanley and Stella (Bombalicki) Lipowski. She was a practical nurse in New Haven before her retirement, and had been a longtime resident of Newtown.

Ann is survived by two sisters, Julia M. O’Connor and Helen Kowalski, both of North Haven; and by several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 28, at 10:30 am, in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Interment will be in Zoar Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are by Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
