A Wonderful Evening

To the Editor:

On Friday, my children and I had the pleasure of attending Anything Goes at the Newtown High School. I was floored by the talent, professionalism, and devotion these students had. The production was fabulous, and my children sat on the edge of their seats the entire show!

In times where teenagers get a bad rap, it is refreshing to see young adults choose to spend their valuable hours learning, rehearsing, memorizing, and performing such a wonderful production. I would also like to thank the teachers who obviously donated many hours to these children, you are an inspiration to them, I’m sure!

Having recently moved to Newtown, I had heard the NHS productions were the cheapest entertainment in town; I certainly felt I got more than my money’s worth! Keep up the good work, and your performances were outstanding. Thank you for such a wonderful evening!
