Sandy Hook’s Simoneau Diver Of The Week At SCSU

NEW HAVEN—Sandy Hook’s Greg Simoneau, a member of the Southern Connecticut State University men’s swimming and diving team, recently earned Northeast-10 Conference weekly honors for his performance in the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championships in Houston, Texas.

Simoneau, a sophomore, was selected the Northeast-10 Diver of the Week, it was announced on March 16. Simoneau collected two All-America accolades at the championships.

He placed sixth in the three-meter diving event with a score of 401.45 and finished eighth in the one-meter diving event with a final round score of 370.00.
